Body of young Asiatic lion found in West Gir forests of Gujarat

Junagadh, Dec 14 (UNI) The body of a young Asiatic lion was today found from a thick bush in Monvel Fulvadi vidi area under Visavadar range of Gir west forests in Junagadh district of Gujarat.

Chief Conservator of Forests D T Vasavada said that the body of around 5 to 9 years old male lion was found in a heavy thick Lantana bush in Mundia Ravni beat under Rajpara round of the forests.

He said that the reason behind the death was not yet known.
