and a leopard were found in separate areas near Gir forest in Saurashtra
region of Gujarat.
CCF Junagadh DT Vasavada today said that body of an around 11 years old lioness was found in
Bherala beat, Chanchai round and Paniya range of Gir east division of Amreli district.
Reason of death was not yet known.
In another incident in Jamavala range, Ghatavad round in West
Gir in Gir Somnath district, a 9 to 12 years old female leopard was
electrocuted in Bhimbhai mala bhai makvana's farm.
In yet
another incident a 75-year-old woman was injured by a leopard in Mota
sarakadiya village near Gir forests in Amreli district. Samjuben Khunt
has been admitted to hospital with injuries on head and hand.
