Kanpur: Allen Forest (Kanpur Zoo) will soon be a proud owner of a pair
of Asiatic lions. The lions coming from Raipur zoo are expected to reach
Kanpur by mid of August.
Before shifting them, their blood test will be done to rule out any disease. The blood and the serum samples of these lions which were collected by Kanpur zoo vet Dr RK Singh during his visit to Raipur zoo two days ago, have been sent to Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) for tests.
