Tourists at the Gir National Forest thought they had struck gold when they were able to catch a lioness casually walk past their safari jeep. The lioness, seemingly unconcerned with the humans, walked past two cars while onlookers took photos and videos of the animal.
Tourists at the Gir National Forest thought they had struck gold when they were able to catch a lioness casually walk past their safari jeep. The lioness, seemingly unconcerned with the humans, walked past two cars while onlookers took photos and videos of the animal.
However,
what no one — not even the lioness — was prepared for was a buffalo
that came charging from the other direction, making a beeline for the
big cat. As people watched, stunned, the lioness ran for her life even
as the buffalo stayed in its hot pursuit, disappearing into the jungle.
