Adorable lion cub trio bring delight to Tripura

Sepahijala (Tripura), Dec 31 (ANI): Three six-month-old lion cubs that were born in a zoo in Tripura were brought out for public viewing. The Asiatic lion cubs were born in the Sepahijala Zoo of the state were kept under constant monitoring of the zoo keepers during the initial stages after their birth.
The zoo in-charge Naresh Jamatia said that the cubs were kept in a different enclosure and not with their parents to protect it from the male lion. Asiatic lions - different from African lions, with a characteristic skin fold on their bellies and thinner manes on the males - once roamed most of Asia.
