strolled to a kissing distance of their safari jeeps. At least eight
safari vehicles had to halt for quite sometime as the lions refused to
go back into the jungle area and kept looking at the tourists curiously.
The video of the incident went viral on the social media on Thursday. Usually, tourists, who are lucky enough, get to spot the lions who laze around in the bushes along the routes of safaris. Seldom, do they come so close to the vehicles.
Chief conservator of forest (wildlife circle), D T Vasavada, said, “There is nothing illegal in this video as 50 gypsies leave at a time on normal days and 60 on Sundays and holidays. Average six vehicles go on one route and it happens that they cross those vehicles from other routes.
