I am familiar with the politics involved and would like your opinion if this will happen or not? I don't believe that the presence of tigers is really enough an issue to stp this project. My guess is that a healthy pride of lions with 2 males as co-leaders will be enough of a deterrent to keep tigers from slaughtering lions. I think the most vulnerable lions will be sub adult males cast out from the pride. But tigers may have an instinctual avoidance strategy as constant fights even with sub adult male lions could result in injury, thus leaving them vulnerable to starvation.
